I just received confirmation from Apple that I can pick up my ‘new” iPad tomorrow from the Apple store! I have wanted an iPad since they came out but have been holding off. I’m due for a laptop upgrade from the MacBook I am currently using but decided to go with the iPad instead and see if it will work as a lappy replacement. I pretty much only use the MacBook for surfing and e-mail so I think the iPad will work. I will still use the laptop-I dont think you can do screen share or run some programs like the online poker program I use, but we will see.
P.S. I know the picture is of the old iPad…

I do the BeachBody 10 minute trainer but I have also been using the Beachbody WOW Gym as a great way to motivate and track my progress. I bought a treadmill, since I like to walk but don’t always have the motivation or time to walk. I have set up a way that I can use my computer while walking on the treadmill and it is fantastic. I get up in the morning and walk for 60-90 minutes while I read and respond to e-mails, surf the web and also sometimes watch TV. I even play online poker while I walk. I have been able to consistently do my workout, sometimes walking at 3.5 to 4 MPH for over 10 miles a day. I like it so much that often I walk in the morning and at night . so far in about 3 weeks I have lost 7 pounds and I find it is getting easier to do more and more every day. Adding in the 10 minute trainer has really helped me to get the exercise that I know I need to be getting!
